Job Description:


Summary:Responsible for reviewing, consulting, preparing structural calculations, 
and 
signing and sealing shop drawings for fabricated steel products including primary and 
secondary structural steel and metal panels. Oversee the Detailing and Estimating 
Department ensure timely and accurate drawings for buildings to meet customer 
demands.
Job Duties and Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
嫂ct as a Lead Structural Engineer on projects.
惹upport drafters and estimators in design of drawings, specifications, bidding and 
takeoffs of building packages.
愛esearch products and make appropriate selection as determined by project.
嫂id in coordination of building package from sales to delivery.
廈as a technical responsibility for current and future product lines.
感repare contract documents, technical specifications, reports, installation 
instructions and other relevant documents.
嵩orrespond with customers on project requirements.
感erform proposal work including scope and hours required for drafting.
愛eview drawings.
感articipate in project bidding process with sales.
愛espond to construction related questions.
嫂id in sales proposals as necessary.
Supervisory Requirements:
愁he Structural Engineering Manager will oversee 5-10 direct and indirect reports.
愚ust be knowledgeable on and able to administer organizational policies, company 
policies and applicable employment law.
愛esponsibilities include annual performance reviews, rewarding and disciplining 
employees, addressing complaints, and resolving performance issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
媲achelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related.
幹ive to eight years of experience preferred.
微icensed Professional Engineer in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and other 
states OR ability to obtain licenses within 6 months to 1 year of employment.
幌xperience with pre-engineered metal buildings preferred.
愚ust have thorough understanding of construction documents, including drawings 
and 
technical specifications.
愚ust be knowledgeable on building codes, state agency procedures, and design 
standards.
感revious people management experience required.
微arge project management experience  (complexity, length, and cost).
嫂bility to juggle multiple projects and priorities across multiple divisions of CSMI.
愚ust possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
惹hould be highly organized
愁ravel as required.Some significant travel could be required on occasion.
惹elf-starter; can work with little or no oversight.
幌xcellent time and resource management skills
嵩omputer skills required, specifically:AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access.
愚ust be able to read and understand complex technical information and 
communicate 
these ideas both verbally and in writing.
幌ffective written and verbal skills.Ability to present to both large and small 
groups.
嵯emonstrated support of company mission statement and value list.
嫂bility to work while being exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold and 
extreme heat.
慈utstanding customer service attitude.
