JOB MISSION SUMMARY
Procurement is in charge of obtaining needed goods and services at the highest 
quality and best price in the most efficient way possible. At all times, they support

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop cohesive sourcing strategies (category and commodity sourcing plans) in 
response to business needs and create multi-functional commodity teams that span 
across business units to drive leverage
-Facilitate the establishment of standardized strategic sourcing procedures and 
business process improvements to enhance organization effectiveness
-Maintain thorough understanding of current trends and business drivers that 
impact SG&A 
-Oversee personnel management including recruiting, hiring, supervision, 
disciplinary actions, performance appraisals, and termination for the purpose of 
retaining high caliber staff with diverse capabilities 
-Direct the development of functional skill building to improve capabilities and skills 
of procurement professionals through the use of coaching and other means
-Engage in benchmarking procurement functions/expense levels against 
competitors; best practices organizations and professional databases and assist in 
developing/tracking departmental performance measures
-Interface and advise with senior executives to align business priorities and 
manage issues in a collaborative manner
-Partner with customers to determine supplier selection (including MWBE 
consideration), potential cost reductions and continuous process improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Master s of Business Administration
-Five years of experience in Business Process and IT outsourcing
-Experience must include developing cohesive sourcing strategies, managing multi-
million dollar indirect spend relationships, benchmarking Procurement 
functions/expense levels, and partnering with customers to determine supplier 
selection 
-Experience with organizational redesign and transformation and proven metrics-
based management experience
-Direct experience with SAP or Oracle and Ariba

DESIRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-Predilection towards mentoring, coaching, and educating staff
-Experience in building staff training programs to facilitate desired outcomes
-Experience with international direct and/or indirect Procurement
